Starting therapy can be a scary experience for anyone! I focus on offering a Trauma Informed, Humanistic Therapy style, offering unconditional positive regard and respect. My Women in Recovery Groups and Individual Sessions hope to make the process as comfortable and beneficial as possible. Groups focus on identifying and exploring our dysfunctional patterns through sharing our experiences. You can expect a laid-back group environment, where members share about what they're dealing with on a day-to-day basis, and offer support and understanding to one another. I strive to meet people where they are in the recovery journey and provide a non-judgmental space to share, process and repair.

  • Dahlia Rémy, BSW

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELOR STUDENT ASSISTANT PROGRAM (SAP) CLINICIAN

I bring warmth, curiosity, and authenticity to the counseling relationship. I believe that healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and respected for their lived experiences. I work to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build self-awareness, and reconnect with their strengths.

My approach to counseling is collaborative and empowering. I value meeting clients where they are and helping them identify practical tools for growth, while also exploring deeper emotional patterns that may be influencing their lives. The work is done as a partnership. With a background in social work (BASW) and ongoing graduate (MSW) training in clinical practice, I bring a holistic perspective to counseling that considers not only individual experiences and diagnoses, but also the family, social, and cultural systems that shape these experiences.

Clients working with me can expect a therapist who is compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in their progress. I believe that meaningful change begins with honest conversation, self-awareness, and a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and genuine human connection.

I am Katie and I enjoy helping others and am excited to work with you!  I am familiar with a variety of different therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, client centered therapy, strength-based therapy, solution-focused therapy etc., but believe in an approach of combined interventions or treatment that is specific and unique to fit each client.   In individual sessions when working with me you can expect to feel accepted, comfortable and understood.
